Four ways to stand with survivors

Find a partnership your company can be proud of.

Connect with the community through an event, or help maintain one of the rooms where healing begins.

Opportunity 01 / Fall

Women Make The Difference Gala

Connect with approximately 400 successful women business and community leaders who believe in using their influence to make a difference.

This fall gala brings together women who lead businesses, support local causes, and help shape our community.

Your sponsorship offers a way to introduce your company to this audience while demonstrating your commitment to women, girls, and survivors of human trafficking.

Ask about event recognition, brand placement, and opportunities to participate in the wider promotion of the gala.

Opportunity 02 / January

Hope Walk

Stand with families, businesses, churches, and neighbors who care about stopping human trafficking and supporting survivors.

Held during National Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month, Hope Walk events bring the cause into the heart of the community.

January walk opportunities include Westgate and a community partner church, with exact locations and dates confirmed for each event year.

Depending on your sponsorship, visibility may include a booth, banners, signage, stage recognition, and placement in event landing pages and digital promotion.

Opportunity 03 / Spring

Where Hope Lives Gala

Introduce your business to approximately 400 of Where Hope Lives' most engaged donors and supporters.

This spring gathering brings together men, women, and couples who are passionate about helping survivors recover and building a stronger community.

Sponsorship can include recognition at the gala and visibility through the communications and marketing surrounding the event.

Ask JoAnna about stage or video opportunities, event landing page placement, and other recognition available with your sponsorship.

Events are shown by their typical season. JoAnna will confirm upcoming dates, available sponsorships, pricing, and included benefits.

Opportunity 04 / Year-round

Help keep a room ready for the next girl.

A safe room is a place to rest. A place to breathe. A place where the everyday work of healing can begin.

Your company can sponsor a room at Where Hope Lives and help cover the ongoing costs of keeping it safe, comfortable, and ready.

  • Security that helps keep the room safe
  • Electricity and air conditioning
  • Cleaning and routine upkeep
  • Refreshing the room between residents

When a girl graduates or moves forward and the room becomes available, your team may also have an opportunity to help clean, paint, and prepare it for whoever comes next.

It is a tangible way for your business to help care for a part of the mission throughout the year.

A partnership people can see

Give your customers and employees something meaningful to stand behind.

Explore recognition, community visibility, and involvement opportunities that fit your company's goals.

01 / EVENT VISIBILITY

Be seen in the community.

Explore booths, banners, event signage, stage recognition, and video opportunities, depending on your sponsorship.

02 / DIGITAL RECOGNITION

Extend your presence beyond the event.

Some sponsorships include recognition in event landing pages and WHL-managed communications to our broader audience of 30,000 donors and supporters.

03 / SPONSOR PLAQUE

Show what your business cares about.

Display a sponsor plaque at your business so customers and employees can see your commitment to survivors and your community.

04 / TEAM INVOLVEMENT

Give your people a way to help.

Ask about scheduled volunteer projects, including painting, cleaning, and refreshing spaces at our recovery campuses.

05 / PRIVATE TOURS

See the work firsthand.

Arrange a tour with JoAnna to learn about the recovery services your partnership can help support.

06 / WORKPLACE EDUCATION

Bring awareness to your team.

Ask about an education and awareness presentation that helps employees understand human trafficking and the work happening locally.

Recognition and involvement opportunities vary. JoAnna will confirm what is included in the partnership you are considering.

Bring your team into the mission

Sometimes the best team-building day is a day spent helping someone else.

A freshly painted wall. A cleaned room. A space made welcoming for the next person who needs a safe place to begin again.

These are practical projects your employees can feel good about doing together.

Alongside sponsorship, your business can explore tours, awareness presentations, and volunteer opportunities that help your team connect with the work of Where Hope Lives.

Projects are arranged around program needs and availability. Room refreshes take place when rooms are vacant. Direct mentoring or resident-facing roles require appropriate screening, background checks, training, and program approval.

Plan ahead for your next year of giving

Start the conversation while your business still has time to plan.

Good partnerships take a little planning. Your team needs time to consider the opportunity, set a budget, and decide how to get involved.

Event sponsorships are limited and can be reserved early. Once an event's sponsorship opportunities are filled, there are no additional places to offer.

Common questions

You do not have to have everything figured out to get started.

The first step is simply a conversation.

Does my business have to be a large company?

No. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses of different sizes. JoAnna can explain the available options and help you explore what fits your budget.

Do I need to choose an event before I contact JoAnna?

No. Share what matters most to your company, whether that is community visibility, employee involvement, helping survivors, or a combination. JoAnna can help you compare the opportunities.

Can we consider sponsorship through our marketing budget?

Yes. Businesses can evaluate sponsorship through their marketing, community engagement, philanthropy, or employee engagement budgets. JoAnna can explain the specific recognition and placement included so your team can assess the fit.

What does room sponsorship help cover?

Room sponsorship helps support ongoing operating costs such as security, electricity, air conditioning, cleaning, upkeep, and refreshing the room between residents. JoAnna can explain available rooms and the sponsorship arrangement.

Can our employees help refresh a sponsored room?

When a room is vacant and a project is available, your team may have an opportunity to help clean, paint, or prepare the space. All projects are scheduled around program needs, staff coordination, and resident privacy.

Can we arrange a tour or an awareness presentation?

Yes. Ask JoAnna about a private tour for your business or an education and awareness presentation for your employees. She can discuss availability and help coordinate the next steps.

What does exposure to the WHL audience mean?

Depending on the sponsorship, your business may be recognized through WHL-managed event marketing, landing pages, and communications. It means visibility through those channels, rather than receiving a copy of donor contact information.

When do the events take place?

Women Make The Difference Gala is typically held in the fall. Hope Walk events are held in January during National Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month. The Where Hope Lives Gala is typically held in the spring. JoAnna will confirm exact dates and available sponsorships for the upcoming event year.

Am I committing to a sponsorship by filling out the form?

No. You are requesting information and a conversation with JoAnna. She will explain the opportunities so you can decide what is right for your business.

Survivor dignity comes first. Where Hope Lives protects the privacy and safety of people in our care. Tours, volunteer projects, room refreshes, and sponsor recognition are arranged with those commitments in mind.
