Justice for the Epstein Victims? The list is out. But how do the victims heal from the abuse?

It’s truly sickening to think that after all of his heinous crimes against innocent children, Jeffrey Epstein was conveniently able to escape facing the full consequences of his actions by taking the easy way out and committing suicide.

Meanwhile, the survivors of his abuse must continue to suffer and struggle to rebuild their shattered lives. It’s an absolute outrage that Epstein’s death means he will never face true justice for the many lives he destroyed, and it’s a tragic reminder of how our justice system still fails to protect the most vulnerable among us.

We can only hope that the survivors are able to find some measure of healing and closure, while the monsters who enabled Epstein to continue his heinous actions are finally held accountable for their complicity.

For several of the survivors of Epstein (and other high profile predators) they found healing at the Where Hope Lives human trafficking recovery program in Phoenix.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Where Hope Lives, treatment program that has helped some of Epstein’s victims, addresses release of John Doe names in Jeffrey Epstein case.

(Phoenix, AZ)- In light of the recent release of names associated with the Jeffrey Epstein human trafficking case, Where Hope Lives, North America’s largest human trafficking rescue and recovery operation, wishes to reiterate our unwavering commitment to the victims of modern-day slavery. Since 2008, Where Hope Lives has treated over 6,000 survivors of human trafficking. Some of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims as well as those victimized by the countless traffickers across the globe are included in those who have found hope and a new life beyond trafficking at our program.

“The recent revelations related to the Epstein case are a stark reminder of the pervasive and insidious nature of human trafficking in our society,” said Jeff May, Chief Development Officer of Where Hope Lives. “While this case has captured public attention, it represents only a fraction of the immense and often unseen challenge we face in combating human trafficking. We commend Judge Loretta Preska on her decision to release these names. This transparency is a step in the right direction on the side of victims of trafficking.”

Where Hope Lives works tirelessly to provide comprehensive support to survivors of human trafficking, including safe housing, legal assistance, counseling, and vocational training. Our mission is not only to rescue individuals from these horrendous situations but also to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

In light of the release of these names, Where Hope Lives urges the public to recognize that human trafficking is a global issue that requires a collective response. “It is crucial to move beyond the headlines and understand the deeper societal issues that allow human trafficking to thrive,” said Jeff May. “We all have a role to play in the creating a world where such exploitation is unthinkable.”

“With that in mind, on behalf of the survivors that we serve, we would encourage all innovative thinkers, corporations, executives, athletes, entertainers, public figures, and seekers of good to fight the darkness with light. Use your influence and power to be part of the solution,” said Jeff May. “The biggest challenge that those in the fight are facing is funding for enough beds to house the people who want to get out of this life of trafficking. Only 1 out of 100 who are trafficked will be rescued, but there are not enough beds or funding to care for them.”
