The Big Dream

Modern-day slavery is not a relic of history—it’s a growing, multi-billion-dollar industry targeting the most vulnerable. Across the country, desperate parents and children call for help, but too often there are no beds available. Where Hope Lives is answering that urgent need by creating a revolutionary model of care that combines medical recovery, behavioral health, and digital safety in one secure place. Together, we can turn stories of despair into stories of resilience, hope, and lasting freedom.

The First Medical Recovery Facility in America Built Exclusively for Trafficking Survivors

A Lifeline for Trafficking Survivors

Across the United States, children as young as twelve are being trafficked—many recruited online, many betrayed by those who should have protected them. While thousands cry out for help, the reality is heartbreaking: there is currently no dedicated medical recovery facility in America for child and young adult trafficking survivors.

Why This Project Matters

Where Hope Lives is changing that. On nine acres in Glendale, Arizona, we are building the nation’s first medical recovery facility designed exclusively for survivors of trafficking. This groundbreaking campus will offer:

  • 200 more beds for youth in need of intensive behavioral health recovery

  • 50 beds for survivors with physical injuries or chronic conditions

  • A fully integrated model of trauma therapy, medical care, family healing, and digital safety

More Than a Building

This is not about adding more shelter space—it’s about transforming the model of recovery. Every hallway, every treatment room, every bed is being designed to address the deepest wounds of trauma while protecting survivors from digital threats that once entrapped them. With advanced therapeutic care and innovative technology safeguards, this facility will provide a pathway to long-term healing, restoration, and hope.

Why Now

The calls for help grow louder every day. Survivors are waiting, families are desperate, and law enforcement agencies are looking for a place that can provide true recovery. This project represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build something that has never existed before: a place that sees the depth of survivors’ pain and still believes in their future.
